Dion Ooi is an international certified training professional based in Penang, Malaysia. He has more than 16 years in Business, Information Systems, Sales and Marketing with practical experience in providing excellent customer experience, building and managing effective teams, learning and development, adult experiential learning and coaching.

His style of training – experiential learning makes his sessions lively and engaging. His experience in business and people skills in local and international business scenes permit him to pick appropriate and relevant examples and case studies, with tact and wits, which makes the learning process so much fun and enjoyable.

His intuitive and unique ability of selecting the highlights and pointers from these training and workshops makes one wonder if he is actually discussing your own organization. Participants are hence able to take back with them instant knowledge and skills that they can apply and practice immediately to make impactful changes in their own organizations.

Dion held key positions in companies, voluntary organizations and societies. He had organized functions successfully and had since mentored his peers in performing the same.

He had been awarded Trainer of the Month, Effective Leadership Award and Dell Vice President Award during his employment with esteemed organizations including Dell Computers.

He had travelled to various countries; Switzerland, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines and trained multi-national companies including Dell (inside and outside sales teams), Agilent Technologies, Western Digital, Shell, Exxon-Mobil (Esso), Escatec Electronics, Osram, Altera, major banks, hotels, and many others.

He delivered a workshop on Making Learning Fun in the The 2nd Global MLS-SCM Network Roundtable organized by International Trade Centre (ITC), a joint agency of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations (UN) held in Montreux, Switzerland.

Dion has conducted numerous public programs and developed training programs for many corporations based on his years of experience in the training industry. His key areas of expertise include essential business skills i.e. leadership, communication skills, selling skills, customer service skills, building effective teams and many more.

He is passionate in his work and believes that anything is possible if one were to put his heart-set and mind-set desire to make it happen.
