EMCEE/MODERATOR/FACILITATOR
At the same time, Norina has also been involved in emceeing, hosting and moderating work for more than 15 years for numerous clients. She has emceed for the Malay Chamber of Commerce, NCWO, Tun Suffian Foundation, UNICEF, Lincoln’s Inn, and the inaugural F1 gala dinner. She has also acted as moderator in forums at the National Tax Conference, the National Accounting Conference, and the Malaysian Law Conference and for UNHCR. Recent additions to her list of work includes the Khazanah Global Lectures, The Kuala Lumpur Regional Arbitration Centre 30th Anniversary Conference, the Malaysian Bar, Lawasia and The Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalise War.

TELEVISION
Norina also has extensive television experience having been a newscaster on RTM2 and moving on to host business and talk shows such as Global, Mercu Usahawan, Point of View and Fast Forward, where she moderated discussions on a diverse range of subjects such as politics, health and medicine, business, as well as social issues. She has interviewed celebrities ranging from Datuk Michelle Yeoh to Morten Frost, as well as Ministers, Judges, and representatives from the United Nations.
Norina has also hosted special television programmes held in conjunction with the Langkawi International Dialogues, the National Elections, several National Budgets, the Ninth Malaysia Plan, and the retirement of Tun Mahathir.

RADIO
On the radio front, Norina has hosted Drivetime on AMP’s Talkradio, helmed the Breakfast slot on Asian-family.com, an internet-based radio station, hosted a sponsored show on Radio 4, and more recently, presented and produced for BFM 89.9, a private business radio station. In her daily interview segment on the Morning Run belt on BFM, Norina has had the opportunity to talk to captains of industry and people who influence decisions and opinions, people such as investment guru Jim Rogers and Datuk Seri Idris Jala of Malaysia Airlines.

THEATRE/ANIMATION & OTHERS
Norina’s other experience includes being Director and dubbing talent for animation programmes including Dato’ Lat’s Kampung Boy, Asst Director, dialogue coach and voice talent for Disney’s Tarzan (BM version), a VO talent for commercials, documentaries as well as being copywriter, translator, scriptwriter and technical writer for commercials, documentaries, proposals, case studies and television programmes.

She was a member of the pro-tem committee of The Voice Guild and served as Vice-President as well as Editor of the guild newsletter. Having many years of working with and directing child voiceover talents, she has also been consulted to draw up training modules for them. Norina has also been engaged to run in-house English communication classes for employees. For this aspect of her work, Norina draws heavily on her more than 15 years involvement in theatre, having worked with the likes of Kamikasih, SUTRA Dance Company, and Instant Café Theatre, to name a few.

The underlying common thread in all of Norina’s areas of pursuit lies in the use of the her facilitation skills and her vocal skills. Whether it is to sell, to convince, to inform or to entertain, how you use your voice to get the best of people which is paramount.
